Cranium Studio History 

2011 - Cranium Studio of Denver expands and opens an office in Tampa, Florida.

2009 – Cranium Studio of Denver celebrates 20 years in business.

2007 – Cranium Studio emerges as an evolution of X Design Company. The design and branding business moves into a 3,000-square-foot, renovated historic property in Downtown Denver. The studio continues to deliver brilliant design for national and international brands such as Gates Corporation, Microsoft and Wells Fargo.

2005 -The studio continues to focus on building and strengthening clients’ brands, attracting accounts such as National CineMedia, University of Denver Sturm College of Law and Micromedex (A Division of Thomson Healthcare).

2003 – As a solid investment in an established business, the company purchases and renovates a studio near Downtown Denver.

1999 – The studio moves to the 16th Street Mall to accommodate business growth, including new clients and additional employees. Amid the “Dot Bomb” epidemic and the turbulent market, the company continues to grow and prosper.

1995 – The studio makes a move to Denver. Creative work expands to encompass web design.

1992 - The studio partners with high-profile clients to include Norwest Bank, Maytag, Massey-Ferguson, Meredith Publishing and Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. (A DuPont Company). Focus expands to a more strategic and comprehensive creative approach.

1990 – The studio grows and moves to downtown Des Moines. The company’s first Apple computer is purchased.

1989 - The studio is founded as X Design Company in the metro area of Des Moines, Iowa, with focus on logo marks, identity and other creative design.
