The Work

Cranium Studio worked with National CineMedia, the parent company of Fathom, in completing quality-based research, naming of Fathom and the development of the brand architecture in order to strengthen relationships with their existing clients and extend the brand awareness to their potential new markets.

We began by completing research to define the current brand equity, key differentiators, SWOT analysis, competitor analysis and gathering a collection of all of the current brand elements. Through this process Cranium Studio strategically redefined the company, its new name, brand architecture and brand tools.

Once the overall brand platform was established for Fathom, Cranium Studio presented the new brand to National CineMedia’s sales team. The internal brand launch was focused on creating excitement and buzz for the new campaign.

The Results

Under Cranium Studio’s guidance National CineMedia’s division, Fathom, has emerged with a stronger brand presence, a larger market share and a unique brand with solid equity in their market. The division has also attracted the clients that are best suited for their offerings.
