The Work
Cranium Studio initially worked with McDermott in 1993, as their first branding company, to establish a strong identity presence in the market. The project included designing corporate identity collateral. Again, in 2007, Cranium Studio helped McDermott evolve in an ever changing industry environment with qualitative brand research and positioning. Recently, Cranium Studio helped McDermott rebrand again. With an ever evolving industry, McDermott has invested in market focused strategy, refined positioning, and updated their visual brand.
We began by completing research. We defined the current brand perception and key differentiators, created a competitor analysis and gathered a collection of all of the current brand elements for a visual audit. Through this process, Cranium Studio strategically redefined the company’s branding strategy, brand architecture and brand tools. We also redefined McDermott’s corporate communications material to include the new logo, new corporate colors, fonts, stationary and website template.
